Frostburg State University, or FSU, has provided paths to success for students for more than 100 years. Situated in the beautiful mountains of Allegany County, FSU’s diverse student body enjoys a learner-centered academic environment created by a low student-faculty ratio and an emphasis on teaching. Students connect with the world at large through nationally acclaimed community service programs, internships in nearly every major, and study abroad. The university offers 45 undergraduate and 15 graduate programs. Strong disciplines in the liberal arts and sciences, business, education, environmental studies, and leadership draw students from across the state and around the world. FSU serves a signature role as an educational and cultural center for Western Maryland and plays a vital part in regional and economic development.
